Welcome to Dad and Buried the Anti Parent Parenting Blog! This is a place for dads to vent about the joys and challenges of parenting. We're not here to tell you how to be a perfect parent; we're here to tell you how to be a real parent. We believe that parenting is hard work and that it's okay to screw up occasionally. We also believe that laughter is the best medicine, and that parenting doesn't have to be all doom and gloom.

So pull up a chair, grab a beer, and join us as we commiserate about the trials and tribulations of fatherhood.

Basically, it's a blog about parenting... from a dad's perspective.

I started Dad and Buried because I was – and still am – a stay-at-home dad. And I quickly realized that there wasn't much out there in terms of resources, support, or even just relatable content for guys like me.

So I decided to start my own blog, as a way to document my own journey as a parent, and to hopefully connect with and help other dads who might be going through the same thing.

And I'm happy to say that, over the years, the Dad and Buried community has grown into a supportive and fun group of dads (and moms!) from all over the world.

But enough about me – let's talk about you.

Why should you read the Dad and Buried blog?

Well, there are a few reasons...

To laugh (or cry) along with me

Parenting is hard. There's no getting around that. But it can also be really funny.

I try to find the humor in every situation, because if you can't laugh at this parenting gig, you're going to go crazy.
